Allied’s Community Association Management Team

Sara Brodie, Director and Community Manager. The Director of our community association management team is Sara Brodie. Sara joined the firm as a part time administrative assistant in 2002, and has since developed into one of the finest community managers in our area. Sara works tirelessly in offering her association board clients and residents alike very diligent, dedicated professional service, and seeks to help residents in making positive contributions to their communities.

In 2014, Sara was promoted to Director of Community Association Management at Allied Realty, and oversees a team of five employees who serve our portfolio of communities in Montgomery County and Prince Georges County, Maryland.

Sara is a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) as designed by CAMICB, and an Association Management Specialist (AMS) as designated by CAI. Ms. Brodie graduated from George Washington University in Washington, DC with a Bachelors in business administration and a masters in tourism administration.

Sara is a native New Yorker at heart, but now considers herself a Washingtonian, having lived in DC for over 16 years. Sara lives with her family in the NOMA/H Street area of DC, and in her spare time enjoys listening to music, reading, and snuggling with her cat, Tilly!

Vicky Chizungu, Community Manager. Vicky is the newest addition to Allied Realty’s team, having joined the firm in 2016. Vicky previously worked as a community manager for Simmons Management in College Park, Maryland, where she oversaw a portfolio of 13 communities including HOA’s, condominiums and coops. Vicky earned high accolades from her clients and community members while at Simmons.

Vicky holds a Bachelors degree in business administration from Towson University. Ms. Chizungu has a strong record of volunteer service in the community. She lives in Germantown, Maryland with her family.

The other members of our community association management team include:

Mary Fisher, Community Manager. Mary has worked in the real estate business for over 30 years, and joined Allied Realty in 1995 after having managed FAB Real Estate’s office in Bethesda, Maryland. Mary has substantial experience and expertise in both residential property management and community association management. She currently holds dual roles as both a property manager and community association manager.

Mary holds an undergraduate degree in business, and has been a long-term Bethesda area resident. Mary’s sons, Pat and James, both previously worked at Allied Realty and also attended LSU, and the Fishers are all big LSU football fans. Pat was an all-SEC punter on one of LSU’s national champion teams!

Jesse James, Community Manager. Jesse joined Allied Realty in 2007, and has worked in Allied’s community association management and residential property management departments. Jesse is currently one of our community managers, and he is also Allied’s Maintenance Coordinator.

Jesse attended Indian River State College in Florida, where he also played baseball. Jesse is enjoys outdoor activities, including biking and hiking, and he is also an avid sports fan — in particular, for his Pittsburgh Steelers!

Josefina Camacho Garcia, Bookkeeper. Josefina joined Allied Realty in 1991, has spent her entire professional career working at Allied Realty. Josefina handles all of our community association department’s bookkeeping needs.

Josefina attended Montgomery College — Takoma Park, and currently lives with her family in Silver Spring, MD.

Kathy Jan, Administrator. Kathy joined Allied Realty in 2015, and is the very capable, diligent and friendly administrator who many of our community residents interact with on a routine basis.

Kathy holds an undergraduate degree in communications from the University of Maryland, and has lived and worked in the Bethesda, Maryland area for over 30 years.
